Be Your Leader Project
Despite the fact that my high school teacher at graduation suggested me not to get into any literature or writing career and that I’m still having a part of my thinking brain processing and experiencing life in my mother language, Italian, I have always wanted to publish my writings, notes and reflections.
In November 2015, after the Paris attack, I made a resolution to let my voice express my visions and feelings about us as society, choosing to believe that we always have a chance to make things in a different way, in a more courageous and compassionate way.
This dream took seven years to start and my blog is called “Be Your Leader Project”.
In this laps of time I have been facing my own fears, limitations, negative self believes, grief, I had to learn how to accept who I am and allow myself to feel worthy of life, happiness and success. I learnt, made mistakes and learnt more (someone will call these failures), and I’m still in the midst of the process of learning and growing, facing often all of the above.
I’ve been inspired and challenged for the last seven years by my own clients, from people I met travelling, from my training rooms, and from my own kids to become a better man.
One of my favourite quotes says, “We are not human beings but human becoming.”
We are constantly evolving and we can change the direction of our life any moment if we decide to.
And as I learnt from one of my most beloved books “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho, all that we need is already surrounding us, it is in our own heart, even if sometimes will take us on a very long journey to figure it out.
With this blog I want to share with you reader, my journey, as a sort of weekly diary.
Different perspectives, different pair of lenses, inspirations, discoveries and the life lessons I learnt, and continue to learn, maybe will inspire you, challenge you on how to create your own life map, leave your comfort zones and take risks, to embrace fear and walk through that, standing up for what’s right for you following your heart. I wish this blog will help you on your journey and me in creating a bond with you, the reader, to keep me accountable in my journey.
This is our time. Let’s give us permission to dream.
